Title: Advancements of Biomarkers in Molecular Pathology

Course Objective:
This course aims to introduce pathologists and pathology residents to the latest advancements in molecular pathology, focusing on the integration of emerging technologies and methodologies into pathological diagnosis. Through education provided by experts with significant experience in the field, participants will gain in-depth knowledge of current practices in molecular pathology and their clinical applications.

Target Audience: Practicing Pathologist and Pathologist in Training

Learning Objectives:

  • Reviewing preanalytical conditions for molecular tests including NGS.
  • Provide practical information for molecular diagnostic techniques in solid tumors (Thyroid neoplasms, colorectal carcinoma etc.)
  • Discuss the significant advances in ancillary molecular testing techniques (like methylation profiling ) that are anticipated to enhance our prognostic and diagnostic capabilities for solid tumors
  • Review the different technologic approaches for performing spatial transcriptional profiling
